Don't Amiplify the Frustration

In this episode of The Authentic Edge, I share a moment of self-awareness that changed how I handle frustration. After promising more than I could reasonably deliver to a relative, I found myself irritated by their persistent calls. My first instinct? Complain. Vent. Seek validation for my annoyance. But then, I heard this: “You can make this as big or as small as you like.”

That was a game-changer.

We all face moments where we can either amplify a situation or let it pass. The temptation to magnify offenses, betrayals, and inconveniences is strong, but at what cost? Every time we give space to irritation, we take away space from our good intentions, progress, and blessings.

So, the next time you’re tempted to escalate something minor, pause. Ask yourself: Do I need to give this my energy, or can I let it go?
